Parker turned 2, and we had a "monkey" party on February 24, 2007.
I (Kari) came down with the stomach flu the night before, so my mom came to the rescue and prepared the monkey cake. Parker had been chanting "un-key cake" for days, so mom truely saved the day.
Patrick became very upset when Parker unwrapped "moon sand" - a present from his Aunt Kristin.
Scott explained that it was Parker's birthday present, but he'd probably share. Ever since, I'vebeen told many time by Patrick that he wants moon sand for HIS birthday.
Our little monkey truely enjoyed his monkey party!

I LOVE the cake! It is adorable...Sounds like it was a great birthday with all the family even though Patrick got a little upset. I have a feeling he WILL be getting moon sand for his birthday. :)
